One (or more?) other 'repetition(s)' sounded like ". flow flow" (which was sung by the woman). Like mentioned previously, I'm quite sure one of these repetitions sounded like ". The most catchy and most remarkable aspect of the song was that some of the lines ended with two the same words (on a nice rhythm of course). I don't think the girl only sang in the refrain. Some additional information on the song I'm looking for: Maybe this helps a bit in identifying the album/song: I'm quite sure I have also heard the song "Hermanita" of "Aventura" some minutes before or after I heard the song I don't know the name of. Maybe the girl even thought I referred to another song?ĭoes anyone have an idea which song I heard? So my guess is that the girl simply wrote down the CD that was playing, instead of the specific song.

After searching a bit (and listining to a lot of songs of Aventura) I did get the idea though that "Bachata" probably refers to one of the albums of Aventura (of which I had never heard before my holiday).

In 2004, the song, "Obsesión" achieved huge success in many countries, topping many international charts like France, Germany and Italy. After I returned from my holiday I tried to find this song on the Internet. Aventura was formed in 1993 by Anthony "Romeo" Santos, Henry Santos, Lenny Santos, and Max Santos, three of them are natives of The Bronx, however, having families born in the Dominican Republic with the exception of Romeo Santos who has a Dominican father and Puerto Rican mother.Īventura made their big break in 1999, with the hopes of breaking bachata music into the mainstream from its traditional base and fuse it with pop music more specifically hip hop and R&B. Medley: No Lo Perdona Dios / Un Poeta Enamorado / La NovelitaĪventura was an American bachata band from The Bronx, New York.
